About Fluffy

Meet Fluffy (A043531) Fluffy has been waiting at Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center since January 2026, and after spending month after month living in a kennel, the shelter is beginning to take a toll on him. Like many dogs who wait too long, Fluffy is becoming stressed by kennel life. The constant noise, lack of freedom, and endless waiting are not the life this sweet boy deserves. He needs a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and simply be a dog again. Don't let the shelter environment fool you. Once Fluffy is out of his kennel, his true personality shines. He is a friendly, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people and forms strong bonds with those he meets. He enjoys walks and walks beautifully on leash, loves spending time with his people, and has a playful side that will keep you smiling. Fluffy is also a smart boy. He knows 'sit' and 'shake,' takes treats gently, and responds well to guidance. He handles baths, veterinary exams, and everyday handling with ease. He's eager to please and would thrive in a home that provides love, consistency, and continued positive reinforcement. Fluffy has done well with structure and has not shown destructive behavior when out of a crate. He is not food aggressive and has so much potential to become an incredible companion for the right family. He can be selective with other dogs, so any resident dogs should come to the shelter for a meet and greet. Because of his preferences, Fluffy is not a good fit for homes with small dogs or cats. His compatibility with small children is currently unknown. After waiting since January, Fluffy deserves so much more than watching the world go by from behind kennel doors. He deserves a soft bed instead of a concrete floor, peaceful nights instead of barking kennels, and a family who will love him for the amazing dog he is. Please come meet Fluffy.
