About Fluffy

Meet Fluffy (ID# A043531) a 2-3 year old, and looks to be a 60 lb Border Collie mix (shelter lists him as a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix). Whatever his mix is - he is 100% adorable and full of love. Fluffy is currently living in a kennel 24/7 and truly needs a home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be part of a family. He has been waiting since January 2026 and is more than ready to leave shelter life behind. This sweet boy is incredibly people-loving. He bonds quickly, is affectionate, gentle, and truly enjoys human companionship. He's already showing off how smart he is-he knows sit and shake, takes treats gently, and responds well to direction. He also handles bath time, vet exams, and being handled like a pro. Fluffy is playful, friendly, and walks great on leash, and he has been non-reactive to other dogs while on walks at the shelter. He is also not food aggressive and does well with structure-he listens when guided and hasn't shown destructive behavior when out of a crate. Fluffy would thrive in a home that can give him: Love and companionship Structure, consistency, and continued training Confidence-building and positive reinforcement His compatibility with cats and small children are unknown, so thoughtful introductions are always recommended-especially if there are other dogs in the home.
