About Summit

Good afternoon - sincere apologies if this type of post isn't appropriate for this group -.�%A0 I'm reaching out as we look for a new forever home for our husky, Summit. We've had her since 2019 and she has been a deeply loved part of our family. She's almost 6, healthy, spayed, house trained, independent, adorable, and great with other dogs. With a toddler at home and another baby on the way, we've realized she needs a different environment. She does best with adults or families with older kids who understand dog boundaries. This has been an incredibly sad and difficult realization, but after months of trying to adjust our routines and home, we are now sure that she would thrive in a different setting. Our only goal is to find her a safe, experienced home where she can be happy and successful. We're in the Annapolis, MD area and willing to travel within driving distance for the right fit.
