Copper is a red and white full-blooded Australian Shepherd. He is up-to-date on all vaccines and was neutered in 2025. He is around 5-6 years old and very active. He lives with his brother from the same litter, the black and white AS in the picture, along with other animals on our property. He gets along with his brother for the most part. They play and wrestle, but on occasion will fight. The black & white is more dominant, and usually wins. Copper is a very loyal dog to us, his family. He is more submissive to my husband, but is good with our children and myself, as well. However, he has extreme 'stranger danger' and has bitten unfamiliar people on our property in the past. He has also attacked our small Daschund and would go after our cat if he could get to her. He is aggressive towards small animals. Due to his high energy, he would be suited best for lots of acreage to roam. He is currently on an underground collar system and has never been tied up. He is an incredible guard dog and very protective over his family. But again, he is unpredictable with strangers and we can never have him out if people are at our home. He does have a sweet nature with his 'people' and is loving. He would make a great farm dog, with no other dogs but him. It is in his nature to herd and hunt. He does 'herd' his people and follows wherever you go. We need someone to take a chance on this beautiful boy and give him a farm life. He needs to be taught to herd the right way without posing unnecessary threat.
