About Cash

Cash is an almost 7-year-old Catahoula/Terrier mix with a strong gaze and a very loyal heart. He's a true people dog - happiest when he's near his humans, whether that means following you from room to room or curling up on his own as long as he's within a few feet. He has great manners and he's the kind of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily rhythm. Cash would do best in a calm, loving home where he can be part of the family. He's a great match for adults or respectful older kids. On leash, he can be selective with other dogs and does best with space and calm handling, which is very manageable with basic guidance. He tends to do well with smaller dogs and female dogs and has lived peacefully with other pets - including a cat - in a sitter's home. A quiet to moderately active household would suit him well. He's fully house-trained and kennel-trained with excellent indoor manners. He's a smart boy, knowing - sit, down, heel, leave it, come, spin, relax, and place - and he's a great listener. He has great recall, politely waits at doors, lets you know when he needs to go outside, and often puts himself to bed at night. He's happy sleeping in a kennel or outside of one. Cash is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health. Veterinary records are available.
