(willing to drive up to 140 MILES ). 6 Y/O MALE WHITE GSD (DOB: 2/18/20). His name is 'SPARKY '. Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Sparky since weaned. NOT UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. NOT Good with dogs. NOT Good with cats. NOT House trained, LIVING IN GARAGE+OUTSIDE. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?:NO . ENERGY LEVEL: HIGH. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: MEDIUM. Weighs 90 lbs. Currently on 'RETRIEVER BITES AND BONES' food. Good with car rides?: UNKNOWN. Socialized with: *people?: NO. *dogs?: NO. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!):NO, VERY STRANGER REACTIVE AND VERY PROTECTIVE OF HOME/PEOPLE . Loves: fetch- handshakes - walks - balls - being near his person - chew bones - ropes - Frisbees. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): YES. *Good on a Leash?: FAIR. *Lovable?: YES. *Eager and fast learner?: YES. Bite History?: YES. When they know that visitors are coming, they pen Sparky up in the garage . These were incidents where Sparky was left out. All minor incidents and did not ever break the skin. No reports ever filed. One incident was an Amazon driver showed up a day early and Sparky bit his leg, no actions were taken, it was minor and no injury. Sparky also bit a family friend that came running from behind the shed up to the house and caught Sparky off guard and spooked him, again did not break the skin and was minor, no injury. The third incident was when he bit the Current Shepherd Parent's brother-in-law, who came walking up to the house and Sparky was barking at him from behind a bush, then came out and bit him. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'He likes to play! Loves playing ball! Doesn't always bring back. Loves when you chase him around' . Re Homing because�'�|: Sparky currently lives outside and in the garage. The Current Shepherd parent is tired of having to put him in the garage every time he knows a visitor is coming over. Sparky deserves a better quality of life with someone who has time to work with him and help him through his Stranger Fear/Aggression and treat him like a family member inside the home.. Sparky will be a great companion for the right person. It sounds like this sweet boy is so misunderstood and just needs someone that is willing to commit to him and work with him. Will thrive best�'�|?: In a loving home with someone home a lot who has time to work with Sparky with his Stranger Fear. Preferably someone with not a lot of visitors.
