Mo is a 14-year-old gentle soul with the sweetest heart. I rescued him as a puppy in Los Angeles 14 years ago, and he has been a deeply loved and loyal companion ever since. Mo is shy and a bit reserved at first, but in a calm, loving environment he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate. Once he feels comfortable, he's a true cuddle bug who loves being close to his person - whether that's curled up on a soft surface, following you from room to room, or settling in for a really good belly rub. He adores soft beds and blankets, sunbathing, tasty snacks, and quiet companionship. Mo is approximately 11 lbs and in excellent health for a senior dog. He has no medical conditions and recently had full senior bloodwork completed ahead of his annual dental cleaning - everything looked great for an old timer like himself. His eyesight is still good, with just mild cloudiness beginning to form, and he gets around very well with no issues. We're looking to rehome Mo because our household now includes a toddler, and it's become clear that Mo is not comfortable around young children. He is sensitive to unpredictable movement and noise and would feel happiest and safest in a quieter, adult-focused home. Outside of that context, Mo is a gentle, loving senior who thrives on routine, calm energy, and close companionship. He would do best in a peaceful home where he can relax, move at his own pace, and be doted on during his golden years. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, and we will miss Mo dearly - but we know finding him a peaceful, child-free home is the best choice for his happiness and well-being.
