Meet Mia, a playful yet quiet and athletic young lady who is hoping to find her forever family. Mia is a Dogo Argentino and American Bull Dog mix, and she is just beautiful. She is a bit independent and standoffish, but with some one-on-one attention, she will flourish and let her playful side shine through. Mia had a difficult start to life, having been abandoned on a busy highway with her sister. They were both scared and hungry, and despite the efforts of concerned citizens, they eluded capture for three long weeks. Then tragedy struck when Mia's sister was struck by a car. Mia wouldn't leave her side, and her sister couldn't run because she had a dislocated hip. It was then that a few very caring people were able to catch them. Mia is ready for a fresh start.
