About Bue

Bue is a 2.5-year-old lab mix with a huge heart and even bigger personality. He's playful, energetic, and full of love. He knows sit, shake, and lay down, loves car rides, and wants nothing more than to be by his person's side (a true Velcro dog ��%90%BE). He'd thrive with someone who's home more often and can give him the attention and activity he needs, especially someone with space for him to run and play. Bue absolutely loves other dogs and is always ready to play - sometimes a little too ready - and he's happiest when he's getting attention. He is not a fan of cats and would do best in a cat-free home. While he hasn't been around children much, he's friendly and loving, just very energetic and a bit unaware of his size. Bue does have anxiety and is currently on daily medication (Prozac) to help manage it. He cannot be crated, as crating causes extreme stress for him, and loud or unexpected noises can be scary. When he gets nervous, he may shake or lick as a coping behavior. When left alone, he doesn't destroy the house - he may have accidents - but when his person is home, he keeps his house clean. Bue is a good dog who just needs the right environment, patience, and understanding. A calm home with someone who has time, space, and love to give could make all the difference for him.
