About Maya

Maya is full of energy, sweet, and wonderfully goofy. She loves her people and thrives on attention and activity. She would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and continue to succeed. Maya is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands including sit, stay, and wait. She is smart and eager to learn, and she is currently working with a behaviorist to continue improving her leash skills and impulse control. Adopted at 10 weeks old, Maya has grown up in a loving home with a child and does great with adults and kids. She has recently shown aggression toward the two senior dogs in the home, and for everyone's well-being, she needs to be placed as the only pet. Maya would thrive with an active family who can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of exercise.
