His shorter leg helps him balance and does not slow him down one bit. Rabbit has already mastered life and makes it look easy. He's adaptable in new environments, curious about people and dogs, and may hang back a moment until he feels safe. With a little reassurance he settles right in. Belly rubs are a love language.
