Meet Charlie - a gentle little survivor learning that the world can be safe. Charlie is a 20-lb beagle mix, about 1.5-2 years old, with a tender heart and quiet spirit. When she first arrived with her litter, she was extremely frightened and unsure of people. Over the past two months, she has made steady, meaningful progress in foster care. Charlie is not aggressive - just shy and cautious. She needs a patient adopter who will allow trust to grow at her pace. She may cower or move away when approached, spoken to, or even looked at, but she prefers being near her people and will choose to rest in the same room rather than be alone. She feels safest with other dogs and would thrive in a calm home with a confident canine companion. Charlie is fully housetrained, walks through doorways confidently, follows into new rooms, and uses a doggy door reliably. When relaxed, she shows her sweet side - gentle tail wags, love for hard chew toys, and quiet snuggles beside her people or dog friends. She does not enjoy being left alone for long periods. Charlie may not be the dog who runs up to greet you - but she is the dog who will slowly and beautifully learn that you are her safe place. Adoption fee: $300. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply to adopt at fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com
