About Gryphon

Hi, I'm Gryphon - Gryph for short. I'm 4 years old, 26 lbs, healthy, neutered, and ready for my next chapter. My pics make me look bigger than I am and my Foster Mom isn't sure what my breed is; maybe part Jack Russell but I'm bigger and calmer or maybe some Border Collie but I'm mellow. Doesn't matter though because I'm a very sweet guy and I'm the kind of dog who really likes being part of a home. I don't need to be the center of attention - I just like being nearby. If you're in the kitchen, I'll hang out there. If you're watching TV, I'll grab a spot on the floor close to you. I get along well with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I have the temperament to do well with kids, too. I enjoy toys, a good romp in the yard, and then settling back down inside. When you come home, I'll be happy to see you - tail wagging, ready to say hello - but I'm not overwhelming. I prefer sitting next to you instead of on top of you. Close, but calm. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and would happily sleep in a dog bed near my people if given the choice. I'd make a great family dog or a steady companion for someone on their own.
