I am a longer-term doggie at the shelter, meaning when the shelter gets over-capacity, which it OFTEN does, tragically, it may have to do away with me, make me 'disappear'. Please don't let that happen to me, am only about a year old. I am a smart, good boy. The volunteers at the shelter say I am so smart I might even teach my new humans a trick or two, say am at the 'top of the class in smarts'. Come 'command turn-key and full of special effects'. I give paw, have a good sit, and know some other commands (say, I like showing them off). Told you, I am a smartie. I am friendly with everyone I meet, according to the volunteers, and I sure am! Also, like to snuggle and take nice walks (walk beautifully on a leash, according to the humans here). My sweetheart volunteer says I am very easy to handle and a great entry level doggie and a joy on four legs, and gentle. I play nice in doggie playgroup, but sadly not much of that, as well as snuggles, since so many dogs here, not enough volunteers. Please, come visit me. Maybe take me home? Possibly save my life. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides obviously ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
