Franco. 2 yr old male Saint Bernard. Neutered & UTD on vet care, vaccine & preventatives. Good with other dogs. Good with dog savvy cats. Kids 8+yrs old. He has not been exposed to young children. Housebroken and crate trained. Verifiable giant breed experience REQUIRED. Located in Nashville TN area Franco is a 2-year-old male Saint Bernard with a heart as big as his paws. This handsome guy is equal parts sweet and silly and currently living his best 'giant breed teenage boy' life. If you know, you know!! One minute he's looking at you like the most attentive student in class�'�| the next minute he's suddenly forgotten everything he's ever learned. Totally normal for a young male giant breed and totally workable with the right guidance. Franco will thrive with continued structure, consistency, and leadership to help him blossom into the very good boy we know he can be. He's incredibly loving and eager, just still figuring out how to channel all that enthusiasm. He gets excited to meet new people and dog friends. Because of this, he would benefit from a confident, assertive canine companion who can help teach him proper dog manners and show him the ropes. Or he can be an only dog as he was in his previous home. Franco came to us after his beloved owner passed away, and sadly there were no family members able to take him in. He's had his world turned upside down, but through it all he remains affectionate, goofy, and full of love to give. If you're experienced with giant breeds (and their teenage phases ), and you're ready to invest in a loyal best friend who just needs guidance and patience, Franco may be your guy. Big dog. Big personality. Even bigger heart. Franco is neutered & UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. He is currently being fostered in the Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
