Tatum is a beautiful beagle that we have raised since she was 7 weeks old. We have a chihuahua mix that was already established in the household when Tatum arrived. They have never gotten along. Tatum is very aggressive with the smaller dog and Tatum is very jealous with any attention the other dog receives. Tatum and the other dog have had to be physically separated many times. We are becoming more fearful for the other dog because of the continued aggression. We keep them separated most of the time. Tatum can be extremely loving to the adults of the household and loves to be a lap dog. She is house trained, sleeps in a crate every night and knows a few small tricks. We believe she has potential to be a great dog in a household by herself. She would love to have the run of a farm or country homestead. Tatum has never been around kids- we are unable to predict her behavior with children. Most of all we want Tatum to be loved and well taken care of. She was not the best choice for our household but we have hope that she would make a great companion for someone without other animals or maybe dogs bigger than she is that she could not dominate.
