Meet Sharkey - From Feral Beginnings to Morning Cuddle Buddy Sharkey is a sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was originally trapped at a feral colony in Wake Forest, but it quickly became clear that this little guy had potential. With patience and love, he has come such a long way-and he's still blossoming every day. His Journey Once unsure about the indoor life, Sharkey now understands the comforts of home. He especially loves his mornings. He knows exactly when Mom is settling in with her coffee and a book. He'll run ahead, hop onto the sofa, and wait for his lap time like it's part of the daily schedule. Personality & Play Sharkey is playful, energetic, and full of kitten fun. Loves wrestling with his foster siblings Obsessed with chasing the laser light Professional-level zoomies Gold medalist in competitive eating (his tummy is getting adorably round!) Because food is his favorite hobby, his diet will need a little monitoring so he can stay fit and keep up with his wrestling matches. While he enjoys pets and lap time on his terms, he's still not a fan of being picked up. He'll need a patient adopter who will continue building his confidence and respecting his boundaries. The progress he's already made shows just how much potential he has. Best Friend Bonus Sharkey's favorite companion is Woodstock. These two balance each other beautifully and truly thrive together. They wrestle, play, and keep each other confident. We would absolutely love to see them adopted as a pair; they both need a feline friend to be their happiest selves. Health & Care Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped Sharkey is looking for a home that understands that love sometimes grows step by step. In return, you'll get morning lap cuddles, endless entertainment, and a loyal little shadow who chooses you every day. And if you happen to have room for two best friends? Sharkey and Woodstock are ready to fill your home with double the love and double the fun.
