Amber Foxhound - High-Energy, Sweet, Playful Boy Seeking Active Home This is a wonderful, affectionate Amber Foxhound (approx. 2 years old). I adopted him in November when he was around 1.5 years old, so I don't know much about his early history. He has a big personality and a playful spirit. He's very sweet, great with kids, and tends to bond quickly with women, though he will warm up to the right person with a little patience. He doesn't always realize how big he is, so he would do best with someone comfortable handling a medium-to-large energetic dog. He is active and requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. He walks okay on leash but benefits from consistent structure and an experienced handler. As a typical foxhound, he has energy and stamina and would thrive in a home that can provide daily activity and engagement. He can be skittish around loud vehicles, so a calmer environment or someone willing to continue confidence-building would be ideal. I care about him deeply and want him placed in a home that matches his energy level and needs.
