About Mufasa

Meet Mufasa Mufasa is a 12-month-old Plott Hound who is all puppy and all heart. This sweet boy is looking for a second chance at a safe, loving forever home. Mufasa absolutely loves his daily walks and exploring the creek near the apartment where he's currently staying. He's happiest when he's outside, running, playing, and soaking up the world around him. Mufasa loves his toys - especially tennis balls, tug-of-war ropes, and chew toys. He responds well to positive redirection and is learning more every day. He knows 'sit' and 'off,' and he is currently crate training. Like many young pups, he's still working on manners and is learning not to jump when he gets excited, especially around kids - but he truly likes children and just wants to be part of the fun. He has played well with other dogs and would likely thrive with an active family - especially one with a backyard where he can run and burn off that happy hound energy. A playful dog sibling would be ideal for hi Mufasa is a very sweet, loving boy who just needs someone willing to 'hang with him,' guide him, and give him the stability he deserves.
