Hello, My name is Maria jose , and I am located in Lancaster, California. I am reaching out respectfully to ask for guidance and help with the responsible rehoming of my two Belgian Malinois-type dogs. I have two female dogs: one is 6 years old (Belgian Malinois), and the other is 3 years old (Belgian Malinois mix with German Shepherd). I adopted them about three and a half years ago after their previous owner could no longer keep them due to lack of space. Since then, they have been under my care, fully vaccinated, well-fed, and cared for. Both dogs are very intelligent, loyal, and affectionate with people. However, the older dog shows aggression toward small dogs, and due to their strength and high energy level, I am no longer able to manage them safely. This situation has caused serious issues with my family and neighbors, as well as significant damage to the property. I want to be completely honest: I love them deeply and do not want to cause them any harm. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I can no longer provide the structure, training, and management they truly need. For their well-being and the safety of others, I am seeking a placement with experienced handlers or a rescue familiar with working breeds. I am not looking to surrender them casually or place them with just anyone. My only goal is to find a safe, responsible, and compassionate solution for them.
