About Champ

The little senior Frenchie literally appeared in the road in front of our transport van. After a vet evaluation where we brought him up to date with shots, we found him to have arthritis and he gets medication for that twice a day. He was most likely hit by a car since an injury that's been healing appeared on x-ray. Sadly, pellets also show up on X-ray showing abuse. Having survived what appears to being dumped, we named him Champ. He does have some incontinence but also heads to the door when it's time to go out or finds the wee wee pad. He has a good disposition and does like to be held�'�|..but not too long. Always on Frenchie terms! Champ does not like small dogs�'�|growls at that as he ambles through. We don't have children here so we don't know how he will be with them. He doesn't chase the cats on the property but we are not sure if he would be okay with an inside cat. Optimally, a quiet home would be perfect for this little man to live out the rest of his years. He most likely gave a lot of joy to his former owner and can do it again with you. The fee is to cover vet costs. The rescue does require a fenced in yard and you must live in New Jersey.
