About Koa

We are looking to rehome our 2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix, Koa. We adopted him as a puppy from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, and he is up to date on all vaccinations. Koa has completed training with All Dogs Unleashed and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, place, and 'free.' Continued training is recommended. He does not do well with crates/kennels and has shown some food guarding, so an experienced dog owner would be the best fit for him. Due to changes in our work schedule and health issues, we're no longer able to provide the level of care and time Koa needs. We want to make sure he goes to a responsible, understanding home.
