Honey is a red heeler mix but not really high energy like a typical red heeler. She does get the sometimes and loves to run around on the lead or at the dog park. She loves to find a good stick outside and make it hers. She also loves to play fetch and can catch the ball in the air like nobody's business. Honey can sit, stay, shake, speak, and knows the command wait when it comes to feeding time, and coming in and out of the door. I initially took her in for someone else that couldn't care for her and considering she is living in a small house with a deck but no fenced yard, she has adapted well and is pretty chill. I just know she would love to have a 'job' and would thrive in a big yard where she can become the queen of her domain. She is very sweet and does great with kids, our other dog, and very quickly learns the boundaries of cats. She has adapted well to our situation but for her overall wellbeing, she needs a big fenced yard so she can live her best life. Honey is sweet, very loyal, and loves a good couch snuggle. I don't think she knows how big she is, and that won't stop her from trying to crawl in your lap. Honey's birthday is May 25, 2024 and she is currently 51 lbs.
