Jackson is a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a surprising spark of energy for his age. He still enjoys short walks and little bursts of play, but he's just as happy lounging beside his favorite human. Jackson is deeply affectionate with adults and forms strong bonds with his people. He would do best in a calm, adult-only home, as he prefers to avoid children and does not enjoy the company of other animals. He has no health or mobility issues and gets around just fine. He is missing a few teeth from a previous dental procedure, but it doesn't slow him down one. He is crate-trained and is comfortable in the crate even with the door open during the day. Rehoming Jackson is incredibly difficult. Due to work demands and having a young child, I'm no longer able to give him the time and attention he deserves in this stage of his life. My greatest wish is to find him a peaceful home with a few adults where he can lounge comfortably, enjoy occasional walks, and receive the love and companionship he has always given so freely.
