About MIDGE

Adoption Fee: $450
Pomeranian
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

MIDGE is a 4 year old, 7.7 pound Pomeranian surrendered by her owner to find a new home. MIDGE is a sweetheart who loves being close to her person. She's friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she can quietly hang out nearby, whether that's following you around the house at first or relaxing close by in a dog bed or curled up in a chair once she settles in. MIDGE does well with other dogs and often follows their lead, especially outside. She would be best with an easygoing little dog for companionship and to help show her the ropes, but might be fine as an only dog in the right home. She has not been tested with cats or kids. If there are kids in the home they should be older kids who are familiar with little dogs. MIDGE is still working on house training and has the occasional accident. She benefits from a consistent schedule, praise, and treats. She doesn't currently walk on a leash but rides well in the car. Because she can be curious outside, a secure fenced yard and supervision outdoors are important. As she becomes more comfortable in her foster home, she's starting to show more playful energy, enjoying short bursts of running in the yard. At night, MIDGE enjoys sleeping near her person in the big bed. MIDGE is spayed, up to date on shots, had a dental, is heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
