Cattle Dog Mix - 4.5 Years Old - Seeking a Loving, Active Home (No Pets or Young Children) Meet Baker (Baker Bug, Bugs, Bakey, Bakey Boy), a 4.5-year-old cattle dog mix. We are making the heartbreaking decision to find our sweet boy a new home that is better suited to his breed's temperament and needs. Since welcoming our new baby into our home, we have done our best to help him adapt but after a year it's become clear that he is just better suited for a home without young children. Baker is the perfect companion for a single adult or family without young children. At 35-lbs he's the best size for adventures and for being the cuddliest lap dog. His favorite thing in the world is playing fetch and he always brings the ball back to your feet. He is great on a leash as well. Baker absolutely loves people. He greets everyone with a wiggle butt. He adapts easily to new environments, has zero separation anxiety, and is both house-trained and kennel-trained He is so smart, affectionate, goofy and trainable. However, with his history of resource guarding with other animals he is also best in a home without any other animals. We are committed to finding Baker a home where he can live his best life and thrive. We are willing to drive any distance for the best fit for him.
