About Tilly

Tilly is a stunning Catahoula Leopard Dog with the classic intelligence, loyalty, and strong personality this breed is known for. She is incredibly smart, alert, athletic, and deeply bonded to her people. She thrives with structure, leadership, and purpose. Tilly is high-energy and does best with consistent exercise and mental stimulation. She would flourish in a home with land or a secure fenced yard and an experienced owner who understands working breeds. She is protective by nature and very devoted once she trusts you. Important Disclosure: Tilly has shown that she is not comfortable around young children. She bit my young son during an incident in our home. Because of this, she cannot be trusted around small children. I am currently pregnant with baby number two, and for everyone's safety - including Tilly's - we have made the heartbreaking decision to find her a more suitable environment. This is not a decision made lightly. I have had Tilly since she was just 5 weeks old. She is loved deeply. But keeping her separated to one section of the home while the kids occupy another is not a fair or sustainable life for her. She deserves a home where she can be fully integrated, not confined due to safety concerns. Tilly would do best in an adult-only home (or possibly a home with older, dog-savvy teens) with someone experienced in handling strong, intelligent working breeds. She is not a 'starter dog' and needs confident leadership. In the right environment, Tilly will be an incredibly loyal, protective, and devoted companion. This decision comes from love, responsibility, and the desire to give her the life she truly deserves.
