About Rune

This handsome GSD is from San Bernardino CA. He was brought to my attention by a networker that asked if I could take him as he was due to be euthanized the next day. Initially I said no bc I thought I had my hands full, but I wound up calling back and said I would, and I'm so happy I did bc this western gentleman has been more of a help than a hindrance. He was brought in to a high kill shelter as a stray. He was adopted once, and returned the next day, due to alleged food aggression. (He's been with me 3 months now and I have not seen this.) it's worth noting that when these dogs are in a shelter their are 3 to sometimes 5 in a kennel and at mealtime they just toss food in and it's survival of the fittest literally. Rune is definitely a more mellow Shepard with less of a work drive than my ladies. But he is always looking to please his human and in return receive affection.
