About Josie

Josie is an affectionate, snuggly, smart, and very beautiful dog. She is quiet and not a barker! For some reason she's not afraid of thunder, fireworks or ambulances. She loves chasing balls AND will bring them back. She loves walks, hiking, and lounging around the house. Josie does well on a leash, knows basic commands, does not door dash, and is treat motivated. She can be at doggy daycares and boarding, meet other dogs and kids at parks just fine, and can be left home alone. Josie gets along well with other dogs if they're not in her house. She is house defensive. She won't do well with other pets in the home. She has shown nervousness and aggression toward very young children but gets along fine with older kids who understand boundaries. Is not crate trained. If she sees people she knows outside the home, she wants to excitedly jump on them. She has learned not to jump on visitors or us in the house. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and is very healthy. She's had regular grooming. Josie is ready for a new loving home and will be a fantastic friend for life!
