About Alder

Alder is an extremely sweet, quiet, shy boy. He is the dog version of an introvert. He is gentle and sticks to himself and is great with other dogs of all sizes and with cats. He doesn't engage much with them thought as he prefers to do his own thing. He has to be the most low maintenance and chill dog I've ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is hesitant with people he doesn't know but never aggressive. Not an ounce of aggression. He was listed as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was smaller and still a younger puppy but now that he is an older puppy (about a year) it's obvious that he is not a pittie but looks more like a border collie. Currently in Oklahoma but can be adopted to approved out-of-state homes via transport. If an adoption doesn't work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested). Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport and vetting).
