About HALO

HALO is an 8-year-old, 11 pound Pomeranian looking for a soft landing after being surrendered when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. HALO is a calm, low-energy sweetheart who absolutely adores people. She's affectionate, friendly, and will happily offer her paw when she wants attention. Her favorite place is cuddled up close with her humans. HALO does beautifully with other small dogs and peacefully shares space, beds, and daily routines. She is currently fostered with KI-LEE, and while they are not bonded, they are wonderful companions to each other. If adopted separately, HALO should have another small dog in the home for company. We do not know how she would be with cats and think she would probably prefer a home without young children. HALO is about 95% potty trained, goes outside regularly every couple of hours, and has successfully used pee pads when needed. She easily navigates doggy steps to the sofa and bed and enjoys riding in the car. At night, she loves sleeping close in bed with her person. HALO recently had dental surgery and lost several teeth, so she does best with softened food. She possibly has the beginning of a collapsing trachea that causes occasional coughing, which is currently being managed without medication. HALO is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention injection, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
