I came to the shelter off the streets of Chicago on Dec. 29th; starved, neglected, and the volunteers think been through repeated breeding. Been through a lot, even though, am only about 2 years old, but am a survivor and not letting my past define my future. I like when the volunteers give me treats and pet me, when baby me, am starting to blossom, be so much less afraid. Am healing not only physically, have gained much needed weight, but also to let down my guard; been let down by humans in the past, so not surprising, am timid with new people. I need a loving home to continue with my healing, to be babied, not a shelter where there are so many doggies, not enough volunteers. Please come meet me. Maybe take me home? Take care of me, I take care of you. I love you, you love me. I'll be safe with you. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, in desperate need of getting out, just scroll down, and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
