Help Me, please. I am one of the longer-term doggies at the shelter, so that means when it gets over-capacity, which it sadly often does, the shelter will have to make some of us go away permanently, make us disappear. Am among the top of that tragic list. Arrived at the shelter on Dec. 18th. I am only about 2 years old. The volunteers at the shelter say I am 'pretty fabulous', 'fun & funny'. I like to play with toys (can self-entertain myself with them), but also snuggle up with the volunteers, am affectionate. I am known for my 'excellent' sit and great focus for treats. Like to play fetch and am fast at it. Have had great leash tests with other doggies here and do well meeting new doggie friends. I can be sad in my kennel, but once outside, am completely different. Volunteers say I have such joy while playing out there, but sadly mostly in my kennel, since so many doggies here, and not enough volunteers. I have met some middle-school aged kids during a special event at the shelter, and my sweetie volunteer says I loved them and was so sweet with them, which I was, since am that kind of doggie. I walk well on a leash and am medium size. If you like fun and funny, fabulous, cuddling, going for nice walks, then relaxing, I am your girl. Come meet me, please. Take me home? Come. #Urgent If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, in desperate need of getting out, just scroll down, and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
