About Venus

Meet Venus, a shining star weighing just under 70lbs, full of hope and promise. She is a 9 year old beautiful girl who loves to explore at the pond, spreading joy and happiness wherever she goes. Venus has been put with many dogs to play with and usually does wonderfully well, inspiring those around her with her positive energy. Venus would thrive with another dog who is calm and laid back, creating a serene and loving atmosphere. Venus is beautifully coated with a gorgeous chocolate brown coloring that glows with inner light and beauty. Venus has been at our shelter for over 500 days, patiently waiting for a forever home where she can share her love and devotion. Venus would love a family who likes to go hiking and go on adventures, exploring the world together with wonder and awe. Venus would love to enjoy life with a family or a single person who enjoys doing outdoor adventures, filling her life with laughter and excitement. She would probably do best with kids that are middle age, who can appreciate her sweet and caring nature.
