About Snoopy Cornelius

Cornelius Snoop aka 'Snoopy' He is believed to be between 6months and 1.5 years old. A very sweet and timid dog. He loves people and has done well in a house with 2 cats and a 110lb female dog and a 25lb male dog. He has been slow to warm up to people but was immediately drawn to the other animals. I think he would probably do great in a house with another confident dog to give him some guidance. I think he would do well in a quiet home that is active and will exercise him enough. In my opinion he would probably do well with kids that know good boundaries with timid dogs, he has never shown any aggression to me or my animals but out of an abundance of caution he is fed separately and in his kennel currently. He was found on the side of the road slightly emaciated. He is slowly warming up to the house and is just now getting on furniture to lay with my other dogs. He does not know many tricks but has decent recall in a controlled environment in a fenced in area. (Would not recommend having him off leash in any other situation.) He enjoys crinkle toys and soft treats. Extremely smart and opened the kennel for himself, so you may have to Houdini proof the kennel. He seems to have bad separation anxiety from people and will remind you that he is a hound and will howl the song of his people to anyone that will listen to him. While he is not a Velcro I need to be touching you kind of dog, he does like to be a shadow watching your every move. He is not microchipped, has not seen a vet to get any vaccines, but has been dewormed (more out of precaution, than him showing any symptoms.) He seems to be in good health but will need a vet to look him over.
