Honey is very handler focused, she wants to be involved with whatever it is you are doing. She is very enthusiastic about training and is catching on quickly to new commands. She adapts quickly and is building up more and more courage everyday. Due to being in a shelter for over a year she is still learning the ropes around the house, she may counter surf or test your boundaries. However, she is very eager to please and is learning new things everyday. I am working on not jumping on me when overly excited and she is learning to not bolt out the door when the door is open (Wait command) Honey was found as a stray near the shelter (In California) and has since been in the shelter. She is still building confidence that she can be timid when meeting new people, I ask the potential adopters to give her time to get to know you, let her approach you, once she is comfortable being around you she won't leave your side. Please contact me for more information about Honey.
