About Katana

Meet Katana ��%90%BE���� - an 8-year-old tan pittie mix with the softest soul and the gentlest heart. Katana is the kind of dog who just wants everyone to be happy, safe, and together. She loves being included and truly thrives as part of a family. Her greatest joys in life? Food (very important), cozy sweaters, snuggles on the couch, and soaking up love from her people. She's affectionate, calm, patient, and friendly, with a shy side that makes her all the more endearing. Because her younger years didn't give her many chances to just be a dog, Katana is still discovering play-and watching her realize that she's allowed to have fun has been incredibly special. After everything she's been through, her resilience shines through as her personality continues to bloom a little more every day. She currently lives peacefully with two dogs (a German Shepherd mix and a Heeler mix) and has done wonderfully, even when she felt overwhelmed at first. Now she greets them each morning like long-lost siblings �ٴ�. She's also great in the car, obedient by nature, food-motivated, and very eager to please. Katana does need some basic manners training-not because she's difficult, but simply because no one ever taught her. Even so, she's already an excellent dog and ready to learn with the right person by her side.
