About Marie Curie

If you have ever loved the look of a Brittany but do not have the space for one, little Marie may be your perfect fit. She looks like a miniature Brittany but is actually a Chihuahua mix, with a similar friendly and affectionate personality, minus the hunting drive. Marie is three years old and has a happy, upbeat temperament. She has a natural nub tail that adds to her Brittany like appearance. She is a loving, social dog who bonds closely with her people and enjoys being part of daily life. She has an average energy level and enjoys both relaxing on the couch and going for walks. She does well on a leash. At times she can get underfoot, so she may not be the best match for an older adult or someone with mobility concerns. She looks to other dogs for confidence and leadership and truly needs another dog in the home to feel secure. She may be a little standoffish when first meeting new dogs but warms up quickly. She does best with dogs her size and may take a bit longer to adjust to larger dogs. She does well with men, women, and children. Marie is fully potty trained, crate trained, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. She does well in a fenced yard but would also be fine with apartment living. She was found around cats, though she has not been formally cat tested.
