Meet Baby - A Tiny 16-Year-Old Poodle with a Heart Full of Love Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Wilmington, DE for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. At 16 years young and just 12 pounds, Baby is proof that the best things truly come in small, fluffy packages. This sweet little poodle mix came to us as an owner surrender and arrived in remarkable shape. Her only medical issue was a UTI, which has already been treated and resolved. She's now ready to find a calm, loving home to spend her golden years surrounded by comfort and companionship. Baby is fully housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and has a gentle�%A0medium-energy�%A0personality. She enjoys short strolls (about 10-15 minutes) and then happily settles in for what she loves most:�%A0cuddles and being close to her person. If you're looking for a true companion dog who wants to be by your side, Baby is your girl. She is friendly with dogs and has done well with children ages 5-10. She barks very little, handles being picked up without fuss, and is an easy little lady to have around the house. While she can manage a single step, she avoids sets of stairs and will need a home without them. Baby does need a daily probiotic that costs about $30 a month. Baby doesn't require a yard and would thrive with someone who is home often and wants a loyal cuddle-bug. Another calm dog could be a nice bonus, but it's not required. She simply loves attention.
