About Minnie

MINNIE�������� When people hear 'We are a no-kill shelter,' some think 'Oh good, the animals are safe'. BUT, as a homeless dog and all you see are concrete walls and a rusty chain link gate. When all you hear is barking, crying, and howling of sadness. When you feel so lonely you just can't take it anymore. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. That is the hand Minnie has been dealt. Dogs aren't meant to be alone, and now Minnie is showing the signs of kennel stress. This is what happens to dogs when they are locked up for so long. We have begged for a foster home for Minnie; we worry about all the dogs who have been languishing in the kennels. We honestly don't know why no one has seen her beauty and her heart. No one has come to see her and take her on an outing. No one has said that she was the 'one'. We are all sad and we are all still begging for someone to step up and help Minnie. Minnie is at the Palmetto shelter waiting for her hero to come please give her a chance. She does have to be your one and only pet but she has so much love to give.
