Meet Bo, a one-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with a joyful spirit, a curious mind, and a whole lot of personality packed into his 54-pound frame. Bo is the perfect blend of playful energy and end-of-day chill, always ready for action but just as happy to wind down with his favorite people once the fun is done. Bo is wonderfully expressive when it comes to getting attention. If he decides it's time for affection, he'll gently place his paws on your lap and lock eyes with you as if to say, 'Yes, it's me you're looking for.' If your feet are propped up, expect him to trot back and forth along them, fully convinced that this is exactly what you wanted. He's even happy to double as your personal fitness coach, inviting you into games of tug or movement to keep both of you active and smiling. Around other dogs, Bo shines with playful confidence, often initiating joyful games of chase and keep-away that show off his fun-loving nature. Bo is crate and pad trained and is continuing to work on his outdoor potty skills with consistency and encouragement. Although crate trained, Bo needs to see his person while taking a little time to settle in. Smart, confident, and curious, Bo thrives when his mind and body are kept busy. Toys, chew bones, and playtime with a furry friend are some of his favorite things, and when nothing exciting is available, he may get creative, making enrichment and supervision an important part of his routine. He does wonderfully with other dogs and, after a brief curiosity phase, is fine with cats. While he hasn't been formally tested with children, his foster believes he would be a great match for a family with kids. Bo can be a little cautious with new people at first, but his desire for attention quickly wins out. He rides well in the car once he's inside and is learning leash manners with ongoing training. At the heart of it all, Bo simply wants to be with his people. Snuggles with his human are his ultimate reward, and he gazes up with deep affection when he's getting love and attention. Bo will thrive in a patient, engaged home that is ready to guide him through his puppy-teen phase, keep him involved in daily activities, and continue his training. With an active household, plenty of companionship, and maybe even a playful canine friend, Bo will grow into an amazing, loyal family member who truly wants to be at the center of it all.
