I have a very sweet 5 year old pure bred (not papered) mini australian shepard that I inherited a few years ago that I need to rehome. Our other dog is much older and has become ill so he is taking all of our time and we have no time for this sweet girl. She is a high energy breed and is used to having a lot of time with her human and between working full-time and taking care of my other dog she is not getting the attention she needs. When my old dog passes, she will be alone most of the day and she is a very social little dog. She needs someone who will take her on walks, take her to the beach, let her sleep in their room at night (she would prefer on the bed with you) but also is patient with her high energy. Someone retired or with another dog she can play with would be ideal. She has been to the vet regularly and is up to date on her de-worming and shots. She is fixed and chipped. She doesn't have any experience with cats but wont chase our ducks if we tell her not too. She is good with other dogs once she gets to know them. She is leash trained, house trained, can ride in cars (although she doesnt like it) and has had many many hours (and $$$) spent on professional training by her previous owner. I am not asking for any rehoming fee because it is most important for me for her to go to a good home that will give her the love and attention that she deserves. Obviously she is not a hunting dog, she is a companion dog, and would gladly be someones best friend.
