TIME SENSITIVE - DEADLINE FEBRUARY 7 AT 4 PM ID# A285358 HURRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! Rex is running out of time and urgently needs an adopter or rescue to step forward by February 7 at 4 PM. Rex is a 1 year and 3 month old neutered American Staffordshire Terrier weighing 61 pounds. He is a beautiful, affectionate young dog with so much potential who does not deserve to lose his life simply for running out of time. Rex came to Pinal County Animal Care and Control as a stray in October 2025 and was the most terrified dog in his group. Despite this, he quickly won over staff and volunteers and became a shelter favorite. Once he felt safe, his true personality began to shine. Rex is fully potty trained, knows sit and stay, is very smart, and learns routines quickly. He thrives with structure and guidance. Rex is dog friendly, but he appears to have mostly grown up with his own family, so he could benefit from continued socialization and positive experiences with new canine friends. With patience and consistency, he has all the tools to succeed. Above all, Rex is a total love bug who loves to cuddle, stay close to his people, and soak up affection. He is playful, well-mannered, and deeply affectionate, and he would make a loyal companion for someone ready to give him stability and love. Rex deserves a chance to live and grow in a home of his own. Please act now-his life depends on it. For more information or to help Rex, contact Pinal County Animal Care and Control immediately.
