About Beau

Say hello to BEAU, a very sweet and beautiful Lab puppy! He's just about 8 months old and weighs approximately 38 pounds so he'll likely be 50-55 pounds when he's fully grown. He's a great pup and has an interesting story. Our Vet rescued Beau and fostered him for a short time. He wanted to adopt Beau but his very senior cat didn't like Beau's puppy energy so we've moved Beau to another great Foster home. We'll be getting more photos of him soon but in the meantime, we have these great notes from our Vet: 'Beau is a very sweet and puppy and loves to play with other dogs. He's still 'puppyish' and loves to chew his toys and peanut butter filled Kongs. He very friendly with all the dogs at the dog park and likes cats although he's still learning he can't play with them :). We've taken him for walks in a public park and he did well..pulls less on leash each time we've taken him. He rarely barks and is learning lots of commands: Sit, Off, Fetch (with his ball and mostly brings it back). He's a great pup who is both house-trained & crate trained!' Beau is great with everyone he meets & we think he'd thrive with a family who is active and will continue his training with structure and love so that he blossoms from his puppy traits to a perfect family member.
