About Major

Estimated 4-5 years old; neutered; Up to date on vaccines. Has been getting heartworm +flea and tick preventative monthly. Loves to play fetch and go for long walks. Good farm dog. Loves to play in the water. Excellent with other dogs and bigger kids. Not exactly bad with smaller kids, just can be too rowdy playing with other dogs and knock into them; or gets in their space trying to sniff what they have. 3yo sis loves to pet him but has also been knocked into by accident. Has never shown any aggression towards any people. The bad: will Jump out of a 4 foot fence. will chase cats or loose chickens. Hasn't learned personal space boundaries, never bothered my late grandfather, but has been an issue for my mom and 3yo little sister. Needs better manners with food, he jumps and whines and has knocked into people by accident jumping too close. *Excited but not aggressive* no growl, no bite, not stiff. Loose wiggly and very excited. He came as a stray to my grandfather and we have been having trouble since grandfather passed, not fair to him or us. Grandfather used to go on long walks every day and spend a lot of time outside doing things around the farm and major was much happier. Is food motivated, needs some training and consistency. Currently boarding at vets, if we can't get him placed we will have to euthanize humanely
