(willing to drive up to TBD ). 4 Y/O FEMALE SHEPHERD/ LAB (DOB: EST 2/1/22). Her name is ' JENNY'. Background: the Current Shepherd Parent rescued Jenny a year ago from a Rescue. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with MALE dogs, READ BELOW. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained, currently living outdoors in an enclosed 36x36 building. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: was Heartworm Positive when rescued, was treated and cleared but MUST stay on Preventative. Abuse/Neglect History?: YES. Was found on the street by the Rescue and was only 45 lbs����. Has some scars / signs of abuse / neglect. ENERGY LEVEL: MEDIUM. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: HIGH. Weighs 65 lbs. Currently on 'Fresh Pet Fresh' dog food mixed with 'Pedigree Dry' plus boiled chicken food. Good with car rides?: YES. Socialized with: *people?:NOT A LOT, FAMILY/FRIENDS . *dogs?:NOT A LOT, DOESN'T LIKE FEMALE DOGS . Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): YES. Loves: Milk Bones - Bully Sticks - fetch - sticks - balls - shoes - cuddling - walks - chilling on the couch - playing with kids - playing with male dogs - being near her person - Jolly balls - tug ropes. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): NO. *Good on a Leash?:YES . *Lovable?: VERY. *Eager and fast learner?: YES. Bite History?: NO. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'She is incredibly affectionate and craves attention. She adores belly rubs and will happily stop and roll over anytime for them. Though she's cautious, it's understandable given her past as a street dog in Oklahoma City. She was malnourished and suffered from heartworms. Despite the tough times she endured. She truly is a wonderful dog, perfect for a caring individual or family.' Re Homing because�'�|: The Current Shepherd Parent has other female dogs in the home and they have tried for a year now to get them to all get a long. Introductions did not go well so they were kept separate. Her dogs got loose and went after Jenny and physically attacked her. Since then, Jenny tries to go for them and vice versa. Because of the attack, Jenny needs to go to a home with NO other pets so that she can be set up for success and be comfortable, relax and thrive. Jenny has never been aggressive to humans, adults or kids. She is incredibly loving and craves nothing but attention. She needs her Furever Home ASAP. She will be a great companion for the right person.
