Meet Risky, a one%BD'%BD%BDyear%BD'%BD%BDold platinum brush%BD'%BD%BDcoat Chinese Shar%BD'%BD%BDPei boy with a soft, velvety coat and a calm, more mature puppy personality. He has been raised on our 20%BD'%BD%BDacre country property, where he enjoys free run of the land, going for car rides, and 'helping' mom feed the chickens-those are truly his favorite things to do. Risky was born and raised here with his parents and siblings and has been deeply loved from day one. Recently, he and his older brother have begun fighting and now cannot safely live together, and with five Shar%BD'%BD%BDPeis in the home I need to reduce stress and tension in the pack. Because of this, I am looking to rehome both boys into calmer homes where they can relax, get individual attention, and continue to grow into the amazing companions they are meant to be. Risky is fully house%BD'%BD%BDtrained and does very well with his routine. He is not neutered at this time. He is people%BD'%BD%BDoriented and loyal, but he is also cautious with strangers and does not like people he doesn't know walking straight up to him, so a home that respects his boundaries and introduces new people slowly would be ideal. He would do best in a home with older, dog%BD'%BD%BDsavvy children (around 11 and up) who understand that he is not a rough%BD'%BD%BDand%BD'%BD%BDtumble playmate like some dogs and will give him space and gentle interaction. Risky would likely do best as the only dog, or with a very compatible, easygoing dog and slow, careful introductions, as he has had conflict with his brother. He will thrive with someone who loves car rides, peaceful country time, and having a devoted, wrinkle%BD'%BD%BDfaced shadow by their side, and he truly deserves a family who will cherish him as much as we do
