About Daphne

Meet Daphne - A Sweet, Gentle Standard Poodle Looking for Her Forever Home Sweet doesn't even begin to describe Daphne. She is an approximately 6-year-old Standard Poodle with the kindest soul and the softest heart. All Daphne wants is love-and she gives it freely in return. Daphne came to us as a stray, scared and unsure, with no name and a very sad heart. From the moment she arrived, she showed us just how special she is. She was wonderful for the groomer, and it was clear she deserved a fresh start. Daphne felt like the perfect name for her new beginning. During her first few days, Daphne needed time to decompress and feel safe. She stayed in an open kennel where she could come and go as she pleased. Once she settled in, she blossomed. She now does great using the doggy door and has had no accidents in the house. Daphne is calm, mellow, and easygoing. She walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys going for walks, and does well on car rides. She initially slept in a kennel but now prefers curling up on a comfy dog bed in the family room. She does great with our small dogs. We are unsure how she would do with larger dogs or cats. Daphne is ready for a loving forever home where she can continue to feel safe, cherished, and adored. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Daphne would love to be your forever dog-and make you her forever person.
