About DOBIE

Dobie came to us when his human passed away. He was initially a bit scared and timid but warmed up and settled quickly into his foster home. She is 9 years old and 7-8 lbs. He has the coloring of a min pin but definitely is the size of a smaller chihuahua. Dobie loves to burrow and sleep under the covers with his humans and is very sweet and loving. He may prefer men as he did 'choose' foster dad as his main human but has been friendly and affectionate with foster mom also (loves giving kisses) Dobie is doing great with the potty routine and seems to do fine in the crate though has great house manners so is reliable being 'free roam' without issue. He is happy and playful and does great with dogs, cats and kids. He likely is not really leash trained as he is intimidated by the collar and leash but the fosters are working with him. Dobie is neutered, current on vaccines and recently had a dental cleaning. He has no known health issues and got a clean bill of health when he was at the vet last month.
