About THEO

THEO is an 18 month old, 25 pound chonky black and white Frenchton with the cutest underbite. He came to us from a puppy mill bust and is the sweetest, best little dog. THEO is a happy, energetic little guy with so much personality. He has a great balance of energy and chill, he loves to play and is everything active, but he also knows how to relax and settle in. He enjoys affection and cuddles but isn't overly clingy. He is not high maintenance at all and adapts easily. THEO does wonderfully with other dogs and gets along with everyone in his foster home. He loves chew toys and enjoys playing tug-of-war with his canine friends. He loves other dogs so much that our preference would be for a home with another playful dog, medium or small. We have not had him around little kids but he loves playing with the older kids in his foster home. He is cat curious but not aggressive with them. THEO is doing really well with his potty training and with a doggie door hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. He uses dog steps and is comfortable navigating his environment, no matter what it is. He is a good little watchdog and will bark at sudden or loud noises, but not constant or annoying barking, just enough to let you know what's going on. A fenced yard is required for his energy. At night, THEO sleeps in the big bed with his people and settles in all night. THEO is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
