This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. We need help. We have a code red dog. He's a young 18-month-old puppy with the best guest birthday of July 20th or 21st of 2024. For the most part he is a really great dog definitely Black mouth cur appears to be purebred high energy very loving, but does not get long well with animals and has starting to fight other dogs in the home, including his own brother he is bounded too/ lives next door and sees frequently. We need someone who understands the breed and understands trauma... There is also a question of whether or not he may have head trauma from abuse and neglect he suffered before he got to us. He seems to be very untrusting of humans in the beginning. He is not capable at this point of being just a family pet safely. Our hope is that one day he can be or maybe even can have a job on like an outdoor farm, but with the heaviest of hearts we cannot get him there...
